Questions & Answers

  • What is Hypnosis? Forget everything you may have heard or seen about hypnosis. Particularly anything to do with stage shows or television performances. The use of hypnosis in a therapeutic setting is a very natural and pleasant experience, totally relaxing and wonderfully invigorating. Words like trance are things of the past, think deep relaxation instead. What happens is that through the sound of my voice I will help you to relax into a a state of heightened awareness induced by suggestion! It's a fantastic feeling!

  • Are any drugs used? Simple answer, no!

  • Shall I be aware of what is happening to me? Yes. Most of my clients fall into one of two camps. The first type of person hears everything that I say. The second type is aware of most of what takes place, but their mind wanders.

  • Am I asleep? No, just very relaxed,

  • Is there anything to be worried about? Absolutely nothing. Hypnosis is a proven therapeutic aid, and has been used successfully for hundreds of years to help people with all types of problems and difficulties.

  • Could I be made to do something I would not like? Absolutely not. You would be shocked out of the hypnotic state immediatley if any such action was suggested to you.

  • Can anyone be hypno-analysed? Yes. For an insight into yourself, and to help release all types of emotional problems, it has no equal.
